The new Honda 2009 CRF450 sounds like an exciting release. Honda will have Honda fans excited over all the new features and improvements on what was already a great machine.
Honda now includes their EFI system. Plus the overall weight has still been reduced. Honda have reduced overall weight by completely redesigning the engine, frame, bodywork and suspension package
Honda’s EFI system is unique offering a plastic fuel pump, improving reliability whilst reducing overall weight. The EFI’s 12 hole injector nozzle provides better performance than a carburetor.
The Honda CRF450R is lighter with a more compact engine, as well as a new four spring clutch. All of the bodywork has also been completely reworked and includes a new improved fuel tank, seat, fenders, radiator shrouds and side plates all mounted on a lighter frame.
The CRF450R is looking pretty hot from US based testing with times showing the bike is better than anything else in its range.
